Today we are introducing a new subscription plan, which is completely free to use and requires no credit card. The free tier assists all developers in debugging, testing, and diagnosing issues with a limited WebRTC deployment. There are several developer initiatives, especially hobby programmers working on WebRTC applications for a baby monitor, family and friends communication applications, etc.

These apps are not intended to be large scale and we want to support them by helping them run their hobby project as smoothly as possible. The free developer account can be upgraded to any of our paid plans if the hobby project turns into a more serious business and requires more features.

This quota roughly corresponds to a single peer-to-peer conference lasting 8 hours.
