We are extremely honored to announce today that Gartner has named callstats.io (Nemu Dialogue Systems) as a “Cool Vendor” in Unified Communications. The selection was announced in a report by Mike Fasciani, Vivek Bhalla, et al. from Gartner Inc (on 03 May 2016). The Gartner report examines vendor solutions in the Unified Communications space and named 5 vendors this year. The report described the strengths and challenges for each service.

One of Gartner’s report key-findings is, “End users expect high-quality, robust video and audioconferencing experiences from diverse endpoint types, including mobile devices and browsers.” The report also provides recommendations for enterprise and service providers to take their strategies forward including the following:

  • Consider the technologies and solutions referenced in this report as ways to cost-effectively improve the quality of end-user experiences for VoIP, video and conferencing services.
  • Evaluate cloud-based VoIP solutions that integrate with favored office productivity suites in order to increase the quality and feature richness of voice services.

The following one line summary in the report aptly describes callstats.io:

Nemu Dialogue Systems has callstats.io, the first cloud-based monitoring and management service that measures the performance of WebRTC-based video calls to ensure a more robust video experience.

Varun Singh, the Founder and CEO of callstats.io had the following to say about the announcement:

“We’ve worked hard these past two years, from humble beginings to servicing hundreds of customers. We’ve mostly grown through word of mouth and thought leadership via active participation in the relevant standard bodies. Being listed in the Cool Vendor report by Gartner is recognition from the community and a testimony to the dedication of the team to build a compelling product”,

Gartner selected callstats.io for its ability to monitor both the end-user and the service provider infrastructure. The callstats.io dashboad reports multiple metrics, which helps WebRTC service providers identify issues quickly. In addition, the callstats.io team is developing and continuosly tuning its metric for media quality. callstats.io is also an active contributor to the W3C and IETF, working to create a better Internet for everyone.

In 2016, we are focussing a lot on partnerships, especially teams that are building a server-side component, a WebRTC SDK or PaaS. We envision putting callstats.io in every WebRTC service and assist with rapidly scaling those services with confidence. To discuss more about partnerships, contact Binoy and Varun.
